Domaine de Kervallon is a 4 star campsite in Broceliande, in the south of Brittany. Its unusual accommodations are highly appreciated for an unusual weekend getaway or for a vacation in the middle of nature. For cycling enthusiasts, the estate is close to bicycle and mountain bike trails.

The circuit of the Chemin des 5 fontaines (10 to 15km)

This circuit owes its name to the 5 fountains that you will discover along the way. It starts in the village of Caro, where the Kervallon estate is located. You can rent a hiker’s hut, a safari tent or other unusual accommodation to establish your headquarters.

In the village of Caro, a circuit of interpretation of the heritage is specially arranged. After this loop dedicated to the discovery of the village, you take the path that leads to the fountain de Gland. Here you can take a break for a picnic and walk around the pond.

Then, you take the road again by linking the fountain of Lonay and that of Saint-Hilaire. Without stopping, you will reach the pond of Patouillet. On the spot, you can discover a bucolic undergrowth by following a canal that once fed the wheel of a mill that has now disappeared.

Continuing towards the fountains of Saint-Roch and Saint-Hervé, you will soon arrive at Caro, where the tour began. In total, you will travel about 15km which will allow you to discover a magnificent landscape as well as an attractive fauna and flora.

The Monterrein-Montertelot circuit (28km)

You can take the direction of the bourg of Montertelot for a long circuit of 28km. The start is in the picturesque village of Montertelot. Saddle up and discover the unsuspected riches of Brittany: the Saint-Méen wood, the fish spawning ground, the Nantes-Brest canal…).

Continuing on your way, you arrive at the dolmen of the Ville au Voyer. It is one of the attractions to see in the plains of Ploërmel. You continue to Monterrein where you can see the church of Saint-Malo. From there, you continue your journey by linking hamlets such as Morhannais and Bezon (the village with eight crosses).

The circuit of the Canal Loop – Greenway (12km)

Still leaving the domain of Kervallon, you can go down south-southwest to join a circuit of the Voie Verte canal loop.

This 12km long route is ideal for a family bike ride. The route is easy, the trail is shaded, and the route leads to places of interest to discover.

You take the departure in the small city of character of Malestroit which is characterized by its colored half-timbered houses. You will then discover the House of Water and Fishing, a museum with 4 large aquariums.

The circuit of the North Oust valley (18km)

This 18km long circuit is an ideal way to discover Josselin and its famous castle so appreciated by the Dukes of Brittany.

The route starts at the river quay of Josselin, passes through the Oust valley, then follows the canal from Nantes to Brest to return to Josselin.

The circuit is located in the northwest of the domain of Kervallon. You can connect Caro and Josselin by car and take your bikes with you.

The Landes de Pinieux and Lanvaux circuit (29km)

It is a much more difficult circuit than the others. It is recommended to the most enduring, the mountain bike is also required to better enjoy it.

Long of 29km, the circuit of the Landes de Pinieux et de Lanvaux plunges you in the maquis of the Breton resistance. On the cycling program: discover the natural and historical heritage of the region.

The starting point is fixed at the old station of Malestroit. You will discover on your way the peat bogs of Kerfontaine (natural zone of ecological, faunistic and floristic interest) and the parachutists cross.
