Close to our campsite in Broc\u00e9liande<\/a>, discover an animal and botanical park,<\/strong> unlike traditional zoos.<\/strong> 45 hectares and over 1,200 animals from all five continents.<\/strong> Various activities are on offer, including the bird show “Eagles, vultures and parrots up close to the spectators<\/strong>” – not to be missed! Explore the Branf\u00e9r\u00e9 animal park<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Animal park located in Le Guerno, the Branf\u00e9r\u00e9 zoo<\/strong> covers 45 hectares and houses more than 1200 animals from all over the world. Around the Ch\u00e2teau de Branf\u00e9r\u00e9, a global pole is composed of the zoological park, a botanical garden, a parkabout and the Nicolas Hulot school<\/g>, a biodiversity education centre. In the park, more than 150 animal species<\/g> can be discovered, divided into large thematic areas. The Indian Valley is home to rhinoceros<\/strong>, antelope<\/strong>, pigmy<\/strong> deer and many species of swamp birds. The African plain is one of the largest in Europe<\/g>, with giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and hippos.<\/g> The marine area also includes three tanks where seals and penguins<\/g> can be observed. Many other species of animals can be admired at Branf\u00e9r\u00e9: primates, llamas, tapirs, camels or yaks, maned wolves<\/strong>, red pandas, wallabys, as well as rheas<\/strong>, ostriches and emus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An exceptional environment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ideal for children, the animal park at Ch\u00e2teau de Branf\u00e9r\u00e9<\/strong> has it all: an exceptional natural environment<\/strong> home to rare species of plants and trees, a large number of animals to observe,<\/strong> activities such as the great bird show<\/strong>, and a huge suspended parkabout in the African valley. One of Branf\u00e9r\u00e9 Park’s missions is to educate and pass on knowledge<\/g>: Nicolas Hulot School instructors and zookeepers regularly visit the different areas of the park to present the animals<\/g>, help visitors feed them,<\/g> or perform medical training sessions in public.<\/g> These are privileged moments<\/g> not to be missed! Special and temporary events, workshops and exhibitions are also organized in the educational farm<\/strong> and around the ch\u00e2teau. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
